A workshop with history

For over 100 years, this workshop has been shaped by the hands of carpenters and joiners who came before us. We're custodians of that history as much as we are craftsmen, every project that leaves 107a Grange Road carries a little of that inheritance with it.

How we work today

Traditional joinery skills sit alongside state-of-the-art machinery here, each doing what it does best. Hand-cut joints, hand-finished surfaces, and an eye trained over years of practice, combined with the precision only modern equipment can offer. It's this balance that lets us hold to the old standards without ignoring the tools that help us do better work, faster.
We build almost exclusively with FSC-certified timber, and wherever we can, we buy from small UK manufacturers and independent local businesses, good for the finished piece, and good for the community around us.
